![]() So think of it like this: With similar equipment levels on Thalia, I can get DOUBLE the SR bonus from Thalia in 2 hours over Frosty in 9 hours. Why bother with the big bonus of Frosty if you have Thalia with similar equipment levels? So again, that's why Frosty's SR boosting at the cost of increasing the cool down feels like a bug. Same as the level 3 Frosty, usable every hour, and gives you a nice gold bonus per usage as well. Now, the level 4 Golden Legendary Amuley (800%) instead paired with the 300% from the Signet gives you a base 1100% for Storm Rider. ![]() So right there, you are on the same level as the Frosty I posted up top. At a simple 50% magnify, that turns into 1050% Storm Rider. ![]() In case you need it made easy: Combining a simple level 3 Golden Legendary Signet Ring (400%) with the Golden Legendary Amulet, your Thalia will 700% Storm Rider bonus, before any magnify. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a great nerfing in the near future. Legendary equipment has truly trivialized the game's current challenges. When you can go so far so fast, you gain a lot of them without trying, and holiday events are just candy land for collecting them, since this time last year, my roster didn't have such deep diving potential. Prior to this crafting update, I only used the silver chests as a gold bonus when I was chasing a particularly hard objective or when I got a new extended crusader and wanted to get them some basic equipment. It would be easy for me to push Thalia's storm rider up to truly ridiculous levels, considering just how many basic craft material boxes, I mean, silver chests I have lieing around. I can get massive bonuses every hour out of Thalia while getting some nice gold bonuses as well. That's why Frosty's increase to cooldown feels like a bug. Of course, that's fixed, but just combining those two effects has an extreme potential to Storm Rider with no downside. The base power in his Golden Legendary "Sparkling Amulet of Annoying Static Shocks" increases his storm rider by 300%. So you can boost the snot out of Thalia's storm rider with no downside easily. Thalia's "Lightning-Imbued Signet Ring of Godly Power" Golden Legendary's growing legendary power boosts his Increase's the effect of Storm Rider. Then I'd only have to run the virtual machine rather than screw around with my display and then fix my desktop when I'm done. I'm considering creating a virtual machine that is set up with the fonts and screen size necessary to play this game. Eventually, you'll find something CLOSE enough you can play this game.Īll his games were done the same way, so in case you picked up anything else from this developer, you'll have to use the same workaround. If it is still screwy, keep swapping your font size down and try it. Swap your font size down and try the game. ![]() Its just the dev took a very nasty shortcut to get the screens/dialogs to look like he wanted, and that screws everyone not running their machines in the exact same graphics settings as him, screen size and font size wise. Windows 10 default is either 125% or 150% so this game looks like garbage unless you swap your font sizes to what is expected. The down side is that the game doesn't scale to the user system, as the graphics are bitmaps, even most of the text! He created the graphics using 100% font size. He did that because it was the simplest way to create the look he wanted. The developer actually made graphics in the game, rather than use standard display technologies. Which is sad and pathetic, but you can work around it. Originally posted by mlangsdorf:You probably have your system font settings at something other than 100% - and the game uses the system font settings and is screwed up if they're other than 100%. Some bugs in them remembering their jobs and picking them back up after they go on strike. Taskmasters still don't like their current jobs. Walkers got stopped and turned back a couple of levels. All buttons available, taskmasters are ignoring. Let program run in the background while I go do some reading on internet. Set taskmasters to auto-progress, ride the lightning, and magnify. Get crusaders set up for a long stretch of walking. Start a free walk to go collect some idols. Was very nice, saved me a bunch of clicking. When it was boss time, I'd just toss out a time warp, and they'd do their thing. Hurray! During that time, I had them set so one was on magnify, one was on firebomb, and one was on lightning rider (just for my own amusement). I was making an attempt at the "reach 275 for bonus idols" once again, and after picking up all three taskmasters, I easily firebombed my way through the entire quest. I love the Taskmasters, but they bug out quickly.
